Our Tale of Beginnings

Re-defining the word Entrepreneurship

My journey into the future of education and skills began eight years ago at a school evening event where I watched the documentary "Most Likely to Succeed" at my son’s school. This documentary showcased project-based learning at High Tech High in California, which inspired me to read the accompanying book. Since then, the idea of developing a project focused on skills and education has been a constant thought.

In February 2022, a friend mentioned an opportunity that made me seriously consider this idea. His friend, who owns a private university, was looking for a partner to transform it. This spurred me to envision how I would shape an educational project. Although I didn't pursue the university opportunity, it catalysed my focus on this venture.

Over the past 25 years, my experiences have been deeply influenced by my founding of the Future Entrepreneurs Association during university, which set the stage for everything that followed. Even my work in international affairs took an entrepreneurial turn when I founded the Global Diplomatic Forum.

In the past two years, engaging with students, teachers, school leaders, executives, career advisers, parliamentarians, entrepreneurs, and civil servants has solidified our vision. These interactions have culminated in the creation of Entreprenerds, a venture that bridges education and entrepreneurship.

The prospect of making a meaningful impact at the intersection of education and entrepreneurship is both exciting and rewarding. The inspiring stories, passion, aspirations, and creativity shared by students and teachers have fueled our drive to pursue this venture. Engaging with these incredible narratives makes our work both fulfilling and enjoyable.
